CMC USAR Task Force Rigging Kit

The CMC USAR Task Force Rigging Kit contains the necessary rope rescue equipment for Urban Search and Rescue operations.

It is a great option for a truck or engine company that responds to over-the-side rescues or needs a vertical lift capability for trench or confined space rescues because it includes the principal rope rescue equipment on most FEMA and USAR need lists.

The equipment includes two CMC CLUTCHTM BY HARKEN INDUSTRIALTM for quick rising and effortless lowering, a main and belay line, mechanical advantage, a litter with patient packaging system, gear for creating anchors, and two AZTEK PROSERIES® LT Systems.

The CLUTCH's novel features, such as the ratcheting rotating sheave, Anti-Panic brake, force limiting protection, and integrated becket, make it the perfect tool for tricky rescues.

Depending on the preferred rope size, this kit comes in two different variations. All the equipment listed below, along with two 11 mm CLUTCH units and two 200-foot lengths of 11 mm Static Pro rope, are included in the 11 mm (7/16 in) USAR Rigging Kit.

All the components listed below, as well as two 200-foot lengths of 12.5 mm Static Pro rope and two 13 mm CLUTCH units, are included in the 13 mm USAR Rigging Kit. CMC advises equipping each team member with the gear in the Technical Rope Rescuer Personal Kit in addition to the supplies in this USAR Rigging Kit.
