The CMC Harken LokHead Winch Kit is a proven high-load, low-friction winch designed for demanding rescue operations and work-at-height applications.

Built for reliability, it excels anywhere a load needs to be lifted or lowered. When rigged to a tripod, it is ideal for confined-space rescues, load hauling, and personnel hoisting.

Engineered for versatility, the LokHead’s lightweight construction and ability to handle unlimited lengths of fiber rope make it suitable for both permanent installations and portable use. Its ergonomic design minimizes operator fatigue and maximizes strength, while integrated safety features—such as locking jaws—protect against free fall or accidental release. The winch can be powered manually using the included handle or operated with a compatible power drill.

The Harken LokHead Winch Kit meets NFPA 2500 (1983), 2022 Edition “T” certification requirements and includes everything needed for fast deployment: the LokHead winch with reversible mounting plate, waterproof carrying case, winch handle, tripod adapter with counter plate, control lever, CMC Variable Anchor Strap, and two CMC ProSeries Carabiners. The included strap and carabiners are also NFPA-compliant, ensuring full system reliability.

Compact, rugged, and easy to maintain, the LokHead features a captive head that keeps rope securely in place to prevent accidental release.
